  • Tickets can be purchased directly through our website! Please note that tickets bought from unauthorized websites or scalpers will not be valid.

  • Tickets must be purchased online through our booking system. We will have a QR Code to purchase from our website for those wishing to purchase upon arrival, but the best way to guarantee entry is to book online in advance. Keep in mind that we do not accept cash payments.

  • The experience should typically last between 45 and 90 minutes.

  • Yes, we are wheelchair accessible. There are a few rooms with slanted floors that are not as accessible but those can be bypassed on your visit. Please note, MOI Houston does not provide wheelchairs or walkers.

  • No, food and drinks are not allowed in the museum.

  • Tickets are not required for children who are ages four and younger. They can enter MOI for free!

  • For groups that include non-teachers, please purchase all necessary tickets for non-teachers. We will add the teacher(s) to the reservation at check-in after they show a valid badge and provide contact information.

    For teacher-only groups or individual teachers, we will create your reservation on-site after verifying your badge and collecting contact information.

    Please note: free teacher tickets are subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance.

  • Strollers are permitted, but we may ask you to check the stroller depending on the volume of guests inside the museum.

  • Children 12 & under: Must be accompanied at each exhibit by an adult (18+) at all times during their visit.

    Students ages 13-17: Must have an adult (18+) inside the museum at all times, but do not have to be accompanied at each exhibit.

    All persons 5 years of age and older must have a ticket to enter the museum.

  • Active Duty and Veteran military members qualify for our Military Mondays discount. Simply show your valid military ID at check-in to receive $20 tickets for Adults, Students, and Seniors (limit 4 per ID per booking). Child ticket pricing remains the same. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the self-serve kiosk (availability permitting).

  • Active and retired Police, Fire, and EMT personnel are welcome to enjoy the First Responder Wednesday discount. Just present your department or service ID at check-in to receive $20 tickets for Adults, Students, and Seniors (limit 4 per ID per booking). Child ticket pricing remains the same. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the self-serve kiosk (availability permitting).

  • Guests who receive SNAP or WIC benefits qualify for $15 tickets every Thursday. To redeem, simply present your EBT or Texas Lone Star Card at check-in. Each eligible guest may purchase up to 8 tickets for their household. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the self-serve kiosk (availability permitting).
